Reports may vary slightly from each appraiser and
discipline. In general the report will include: the specific valuation
that was the basis for the report, definition of value, item description,
appraisal methodology, item condition, limiting and qualifying conditions,
appraiser’s certification and qualifications, item history
and genealogy and the dollar value of the item(s).
LONG DOES AN APPRAISAL USUALLY TAKE
Appraisers work at different speeds and will have
varying amounts of work they must complete before they begin working
on your appraisal. Before you obligate yourself, take the opportunity
to become fully informed of the cost, procedure, and completion

the professional’s fee. Our referral appraisers, who are accredited
under the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice,
and have agreed to operate ethically and fairly under these standards,
when contacting you will discuss his or her credentials, the appraisal
fee, convenient scheduling, and answer any questions you might have.
We highly recommend you fully understand the total fee you are responsible
for before the appraisal begins.

within the hour. Typically, you’ll receive the referral within
a day. However, on rare occasions it may take several days. There
are times when appraisers are out in the field and we are unable
to reach them to secure their interest.
